Aniko Brang

Biography

Aniko Brang's painting/drawings have been exhibited in group exhibitions in galleries in Minneapolis, including the Jack Wold Gallery; the Wilcock Gallery; Calhoun Beach and Framing; Unpretentious Art Gallery, and Uptown Art Gallery.

In addition she has done numerous paintings for individual sale.

Aniko Brang was born in St. Louis Park, MN, in 1974. She is self-taught.

Artist’s Statement

I use images of people and nature to evoke a sense of easily identifiable universal human emotion. The drawings convey my own sense of warmth through the bold use of color and passion through the starkness of black and while pencil. I create the basic mood letting people derive their own perception from their life experiences.
