Artist Statement

The act of painting is a deeply personal and private process for me. I try to achieve a high degree of concentration as I work on the images. I am inspired by colorful landscapes, flowers, trees and bright sunny skies. For me, color is the most important part of my work. I work mostly from photographs, some of which I take myself. As I also enjoy photography. It is very important to me that my paintings bring happiness and enjoyment to people!
